Tracking is the start, not the product
Live position and route history, and then scheduling, crew, leave, documents with expiry alerts, maintenance and safety checks, fuel, stock and purchasing — one login, one bill.
FollowMe is a well-known Maldivian tracking service and a lot of operators use it. If you are weighing up what else is out there, here is what Dhuveli is and who it tends to suit — so you can judge it against whatever you are using now.
We are not going to tell you what another company does or does not do; their features are theirs to describe and they change. What we can tell you is exactly what Dhuveli is, so you can put it next to your current setup and see whether the difference is worth anything to you.
Dhuveli is built in Maafushi by Oneconnect for Maldivian boat operators. It began as vessel tracking and grew into the rest of what an operator does — because most of the people asking us for tracking were also keeping crew schedules in a notebook and vessel documents in a drawer.
Live position and route history, and then scheduling, crew, leave, documents with expiry alerts, maintenance and safety checks, fuel, stock and purchasing — one login, one bill.
Every fix is named against 1,100 islands, plus harbours, dive sites, FADs and ice plants. The log says where the boat was, not what its coordinates were.
A documented REST API and a live map you can drop into your own site — see the developer docs.
The islands and places behind the naming are free for anyone at the Maldives Atlas, whether you are a customer or not.
Based in Maafushi, on WhatsApp, in Dhivehi or English, from the same time zone as your boats.
Bring your vessels and devices across, and run both in parallel while you decide. We will help with the migration.
Tracking is one part of it. Crew scheduling, staff leave, vessel and crew documents with expiry alerts, maintenance and safety checklists, fuel logging, inventory and purchasing all sit in the same workspace, so the boat's position and the boat's paperwork are not in two different systems.
Often, yes. We work with common GPS hardware and can usually point an existing device at Dhuveli without new equipment. Send us the model and we will tell you straight.
Yes, and we would suggest it. Run both for a few weeks on one or two boats and switch only when you are satisfied.
Yes. Built and supported from Maafushi in Kaafu Atoll by Oneconnect Pvt Ltd, for Maldivian operators.
We will set up a workspace with your vessels in it so you can judge it on your own operation rather than a demo of ours.
